Make your desserts extra healthy with yogurt!

When people try to think of a healthy dairy product, yogurt is one of the first things that come to mind. For one, yogurt is great for the digestive system because it contains "probiotics" - friendly bacteria that can improve digestive health and boost the immune system.

Though not everyone is a fan of yogurt's sour taste, but these desserts will surely make this cultured bacteria product a lot easier on the palate. The Perfect Pantry has a recipe for a dessert that combines yogurt with the tartness of lemon and the nutty chunkiness of walnuts.

Yogurt may taste great with fruit toppings, but did you know that yogurt can also be a dessert topping itself? Desserts With Benefits has a recipe for healthy cinnamon rolls that uses a frosting made from Greek yogurt, soy milk and natural sweetener.
