This drink requires a homemade DIY Chai Spice that sounds difficult to make but is actually very easy to pull off. A small jar of the DIY Chai Spice will give you a couple of cups of chai tea, so it's definitely worth making. 

"Turns out- original almond milk is perfect for this recipe! You want it to be slightly sweet, so that the chocolately chai-ey flavors come out! If you only have the unsweetened variation, you can try adding some coconut sugar, honey (not vegan), or maple syrup!"

If you want a stronger chai flavor, put the spices on a silicone mat-lined baking sheet and toast in the oven for five minutes before putting in a small jar for storage.
