St. Patrick's Day party food doesn't always have to be corned beef and soda bread. There are lots of glorious treats associated with the Emerald Isle that would tickle the fancy of guests with a sweet tooth.
On today's St. Patrick's Day food menu is Irish Cream Fudge by Everyday Dishes. This recipe divinely combines the tastes of Irish Cream liqueur, condensed milk, and white chocolate.
The Irish Cream Fudge recipe is pretty much very easy to make - the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter are all melted together in the microwave, so that already cuts the preparation and cleanup time in half.
Though the ingredients include Irish Cream liqueur, the recipe promises a minimal hint of alcohol, which is great for guests who do not want to snack on food that tastes like whiskey neat.
There are still a few days left before St. Patrick's Day, so go ahead and try making this treat and see for your self if it's worthy enough to serve on your party (but we all know it's just a lousy excuse to make fudge all for yourself).
Tip: getting the fudge out of the pan could be tricky. The harder the fudge sets, the more it is prone to breakage. Putting a silicone baking mat at the bottom of the baking sheet can make things a lot easier.
