This Coconut Flan - Low Carb & Gluten-Free from All Day I Dream About Food is a luscious dessert that it surprisingly quite easy to make. This is healthier than your usual flan because it's made with coconut milk and low-carb condensed milk. Caramel Sauce

  • 1 tsp molasses

It's a very easy dessert to whip up, and you probably don't have to make a grocery run to make it. If you're trying to stay away from sugar, you can easily substitute Stevia or artificial sweeteners for it to make this dessert healthier.

This All Natural Fat Free Whipped ‘Cream’ recipe from The View From Great Island is a fantastic treat to make if you're avoiding calorific heavy cream. It's a great topping for healthy desserts and transforms a cup of berries or any sliced fruit into a glorious parfait.  The best part? It only has 7 calories per tablespoon!

Ludy's Kitchen Healthy Tip:

You can easily substitute non-fat milk or skim milk for full-cream milk in most recipes. There would be a slight difference in texture, but not significant enough that the finished product would be a whole new different dish.


Make cooking a lot easier and more enjoyable by using good quality silicone baking mats. Not only are silicone mats sturdy and durable. Because they're non-stick, you can also cut your clean-up time in half.
