My Favorite Puffy, Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (Wall Flour Girl)

Wall Flour Girl has an incredibly delicious recipe for chewy peanut butter chocolate chip  cookies. It's basically that - a merger of peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies, but it's much more fluffier than its original versions, and is thus a more satisfying treat for those who are fond of chewy cookies! 

"You’ll never need another peanut butter cookie recipe after you’ve met–and inhaled–this one! Puffy, soft, and perfectly chewy without a hint of cakiness about them, these mounds of peanut butter goodness are my personal favorite."


  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup heaping cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened to the point of melting
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Chinese New Year Peanut Cookies (Bread et Butter)

Bread et Butter has a great recipe idea for Chinese New year Peanut Cookies. This is simple yet satisfying cookie that is great to have with green tea or hot milk for the kids. The use of icing sugar with peanuts give this cookies a delicate texture. This is a crumbly cookie that the whole family will surely enjoy. 

"These cookies turned out beautifully, and had the “melt in your mouth” quality that is essential for peanut cookies. I used corn oil for the “fat” component of the cookies as it was all I had to hand."


  • 2 cups peanuts
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup icing sugar (alternatively, use castor sugar)
  • 1 cup corn oil (alternatively, use lard or butter)

Rolo-Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies (Sally's Baking Addiction)

Sally's Baking Addiction has a great recipe for Rolo-Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies. It's basically peanut cookies stuffed with caramels. It's a great treat to have with black coffee - the bitterness of the coffee will complement the sweetness of the caramel and the nuttiness of the peanut butter. The perfect treat after a long day at work! (Just make sure to have decaf for a restful sleep).

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
